As a leader in the industry, we're elevating the retail experience for our consumers through our collection of established brands, including Sports Direct, FLANNELS, USC, Frasers, and GAME.As a Social Media Manager, your role will be to focus on our Running category along with Seasonal Sports. JOB DESCRIPTIONWork within our tools to build comprehensive social plans & scheduling that can be shared with wider teams & brands to give visibility on upcoming posts & content.Develop engaging copy that grabs attention.Managing an active online community, responding to comments and partaking in discussion around relevant topics.Daily monitoring of all social media channels including competitors and similar accounts sharing insight & ideas back with the wider team.Finding trends, #hashtags - and general 'hack culture' to ensure as a brand we're responding to and participating in the right discussions.Utilize our huge bank of existing content, whilst also cooking up new and original content ideas, then executing them!Be our brand's social media presence and establish our tone of voice taking direction from our new brand positioning and evolution.Link up with our creative and production teams to write social deliverables and briefs to be captured on our photo & video shoots.Attend events and capture content reporting on moments within the community (in some instances you might even need to get in front of the camera so don't be shy).You'll be expected to provide some analytical reporting to creatives and the wider business, demonstrating your skills.Working with the paid media team to execute paid-for campaigns, distributing content across the platforms where the consumer lives.National and International travel as required.QUALIFICATIONSMeticulous organization and timekeeping within a fast-paced and energetic team that juggle multiple projects and tasks.Attention to detail from a creative and copywriting point of view.Ability to understand and translate brand direction and purpose into social ideas and content.Ability to identify relevant cultural insights and apply these to your creative thinking.Deep understanding of how people engage with social platforms, and how behaviour is changing. Ability to translate data into insights to inform creative strategy.Great facilitation skills - for workshops and creative sprints.Ability to develop inspirational creative briefs for the creative content team.An interest in Running would be advantageous ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONAn opportunity like this at Frasers is for the fearless.
