The Executive will work closely with Communication teams and many other teams within the charity to deliver compelling content, and to grow our audience base, presence and impact. Monitor interactions across Alzheimer's Research UK's key social media channels, proactively engaging with supporters to ensure they receive a positive experience.
Identify sharable third-party content which aligns with Alzheimer's Research UK's brand messaging.
Support teams across the organisation with their social media output; advising on best practice, sharing content drafts and ideas.
Share relevant platform suggestions with teams to improve their presence and KPIs on social media.
Review and report back on data from our social media management tool, helping to review performance and advise on future content and approaches to ensure team targets are met.
Monitor the latest social media trends and technologies, to enable Alzheimer's Research UK to maximise the value of its presence across all platforms.
Communicate in an effective, timely and appropriate style with our various audiences, being mindful of complex or sensitive issues.
Be confident attending events to engage with supporters and produce live content for social channels.
Support the Social Media team in engaging with other Alzheimer's Research UK employees, including sharing best practice and providing post suggestions for colleagues.
Ensure that activities meet with brand and data guidelines, and that the high professional standards of Alzheimer's Research UK are maintained.

What we are looking for:

Experience using Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and LinkedIn for a charity or company.
Experience planning and producing social media content.
Experience of community management on social media.
Experience reviewing social media metrics
Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
Ability to distil technical content into concise language suitable for various online audiences.
An understanding and passion for emerging technologies and trends.

An approachable, enthusiastic, collaborative and can-do attitude.
Someone who embraces digital life.
Strong organisational skills, ability to multitask and prioritise.
Ability to work across the charity and collaborate with different teams.
Occasional out of hours (including weekend) support, usually around the launch of major initiatives, stories and campaigns.
