about the role
Social is a key and powerful part of how we communicate with and engage our community. This role is key in developing our social content strategy across all of our social media channels - both existing and future.

We are looking for an experienced Social Media Editor who lives and breathes social media to help shape our content production and channel strategy.

You will be a creator, editor, copy expert and all-around social guru who is also goal oriented, results driven, resourceful, flexible and organized!

You can seamlessly navigate the nuances of the everchanging IG and TikTok platforms with creativity and confidence. You will work closely with the social team members to deliver daily content and have an understanding of virality on social platforms.

You'll love this role if you're obsessed with social trends, shooting content and have a great sense of brand aesthetics.

This role will report into the Head Social Media Manager and is offered on a full time permanent contract.

key responsibilities

Responsible for all content planning, delivery & execution and community engagement managed by the team ensuring content best practice and flawless execution
Lead the creation of social-first content across channels and ensure its visual representation is in line with Pangaia's visual identity.
Create and produce social media assets in house and in collaboration with contributors, working closely with the creative team.
You will be responsible for the planning, production and day-to-day management of the social media content plan, with experience running engaging community-led channels.
You will be able to use a range of social media tools and analytics to gain insight and understanding into how our content performs and what our audience thinks, and then use that knowledge to shape future content production. You'll create regular reports to present back to the wider team.
A brilliant copywriter and digital native, you'll know how to craft social media content to achieve both reach and engagement.
Identifying key trends, cultural moments and come up with original content ideas for existing and future platforms
Identify partners, collaborators and content creators that can help amplify our social presence
Come up with reactive content plans for live events, pop ups and other physical activations that will transfer physical experiences into the social world visually
Lead messaging and written content for social media content, maintaining the Pangaia tone of voice
Be an expert in social media reporting and analytics in order to measure success of social content and activations
Requirements
Experience in a creative role within Social Media, with extensive experience in content development and copywriting.
Social Media experience within the fashion, lifestyle or retail industry is essential.
Strong knowledge of industry trends and current events globally.
Experience with art direction and content production.
Ability to develop creative output based on reporting and past performance.
Experience working with Adobe Photoshop and Video editing softwares
Experience with a range of social media tools and analytics to gain insight and understanding into how our content performs and what our audience thinks.
You will have a proven track record of working across the Social Media landscape - including content optimisation and publishing algorithms, building and engaging communities, social listening and reporting.
Planning and execution of socially-led campaigns, and an understanding of the latest technologies impacting key global platforms.
You are a strategic thinker, you can confidently interpret business & marketing requirements, using social insights to develop specific social strategies and briefs.
