We are looking for a Social Media Editor to join our Marketing and Digital Communications Department in London. You will develop and execute Paul Smith's global social media strategy across all platforms whilst fostering the brand community and building following and engagement. This creative and analytical role will focus on driving brand presence, working closely with the Digital Marketing, Press, E-commerce and Buying teams to ensure campaigns are aligned with the global marketing communications plan.Please note, this is a temporary maternity cover contract for a minimum of 6 months. The Role:• Lead our social media strategy to drive acquisition and engagement by developing innovative, creative ideas across our channels.• Define and exceed KPI targets and goals across all social media channels, including follower growth, brand awareness, community engagement and paid social ROI.• Proactively review opportunities across channels by remaining ahead of social media trends and carry out competitor research.• Manage all social media planning, scheduling and reporting for Paul Smith.• Work closely with the Digital and Creative teams to implement a consistent content strategy across our social channels, managing the balance between commercial and brand.• Work closely with the Graphics department and Content team preparing images/video for use across our social media channels.• Support the communications department planning and executing social media coverage across campaigns, activations and events.• Work with the communications teams to identify collaborations with influencers and social creators to drive reach and brand awareness. • Build and maintain strong relationships with social media companies nurturing potential partnerships.• Provide input and support on all crisis management planning across our social platforms.• Work with the Customer Service teams to maintain customer satisfaction.Your Skills & Experience:• Minimum of 2 years credible experience of Social Media Marketing and community development for a Fashion Retailer.• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.• Proficient with major social media platforms and direct usage of social media management tools. • Experience executing creative social media campaigns.• Desirable to have a Media related qualification.Who you are:• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Able to plan, organise and prioritise. Work to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.• Analytical and numerate when reporting on campaigns.• Team worker, able to build effective working relationships. Excellent interpersonal skills and customer focused. • Desirable to have a genuine interest in Luxury Fashion.• Prepared to be flexible to work over hours during busy periods.
