Social Media & Content Specialist

London & Remote Working HYBRID

The Social Media and Content Specialist will work closely with the Head of Performance Marketing to execute and support social media and content initiatives across global and market-specific accounts. This role will assist in managing daily social media activities, including content creation, scheduling, community management, and collaborating with site teams to elevate Student.com's brand presence. The specialist will also focus on video creation, content strategy, and supporting global social media efforts.

The marketing team is growing and we are looking for talented people who are passionate about helping students through their educational journey. Perhaps you have been in a similar situation, love to travel and will be able to provide exceptional guidance and support across the world and work alongside our global colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
* Content Creation and Strategy:
> Assist in developing engaging content for various platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Facebook.
> Collaborate with the Head of Performance Marketing on content strategies to enhance brand engagement and audience growth.
> Create high-quality multimedia content (images, videos, graphics) that aligns with Student.com's brand voice and social media goals.
> Support the development of content calendars to ensure consistent and timely posting.
> Contribute to the production of website content and blogs
> Collaborate and align the website content and social media strategy with external agencies.

* Social Media Management:
> Schedule and publish content across social media channels, ensuring posts are aligned with global and regional marketing objectives.
> Monitor daily activity on all social platforms, engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages, and escalating any community issues as needed.
> Collaborate with partners to support local social media.
> Assist with live event coverage, including filming and posting in real time.

* Community Engagement:
> Monitor and manage social media interactions to foster a positive online community.
> Identify and engage with influencers, students, and brand advocates to drive brand visibility.
> Report on community engagement metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.

* Video Creation:
> Assist with creating engaging short-form videos for social platforms, especially TikTok and Instagram Reels.
> Stay updated on social media trends and incorporate them into content planning.

* Collaboration:
> Work with the wider business to ensure content aligns with broader brand and campaign goals.
