We are looking for an experienced Social Media and Community Executive to play a fundamental role in building our online community and social media channels. As part of this role, your primary activities will involve creating innovative social media content and campaigns for both brands with the aim to grow and build our online community, increase engagement and encourage collaboration Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities - Working with the Social Media and Community Manager, along with the wider team, to formulate the Social Media Strategy for the UK, as well as being responsible for executing this strategy across all social channels - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest - Placing a real focus on building and expanding our online communities, looking for opportunities to encourage collaboration and connection between community members - Responsible for ensuring social media posts are being delivered effectively - on the right channels, to the right audience at the right time - Seeking out new opportunities to build collaborative relationships with bloggers, relevant brands and influencers - Working with our digital creation team to create unique social media content - Uploading content to our brand websites in order to support social media and community initiatives - Devising and executing competitions and wider viral campaigns to increase engagement, channel growth and brand awareness - Responding to consumer facing messaging - Participating in creative ideas sessions across departments Required experience, attributes and skills:- Passion for all things social- Understanding for the importance of building online communities- Content creation experience- Exceptional written skills with excellent attention to detail- Experience of working with content management tools (preferable)- Strong work ethic and personal accountability- Good interpersonal skills Qualifications- Proven working experience in social media and community building in a business environment (2+ years)- Demonstrable experience assisting and coordinating social media initiatives.- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences.- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media.
