Social Media & Community Executive

Birmingham hybrid HYBRID

Join our dynamic team as a Social Media & Community Executive! We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic individual to become a crucial part of our growing Performance Marketing team. With a primary focus on social media, you'll collaborate closely with our Social Media Lead to engage with the community, respond to user-generated content, and efficiently address issues by liaising with internal and client teams. Moreover, you'll play a pivotal role in developing, overseeing, and reporting on both paid and organic campaigns across major social platforms.

We're searching for an all-rounder with a strong grasp of social media marketing, ready to dive into action with a diverse portfolio of B2B and B2C clients spanning various industries. Don't worry if you're not already a pro; we offer comprehensive training in essential tools like Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, and Brandwatch to equip you with the skills you need to thrive in this role.

At times, flexibility may be required over the weekends to support Out of Hours community management. Rest assured, we'll plan these commitments in advance and provide compensation options, including overtime or time in lieu. Key Accountabilities:

Community:

First point of contact for all interaction, including customer complaint and queries.
Respond to comments, when appropriate, to foster a positive community and add value to the user's experience.
Enforce the Social Media Guidelines as defined by the brand.
Escalating complaints and issues to appropriate client stakeholders.
Social Media Marketing:

Budget management and optimisation across Paid Social Media campaigns
Supporting the translation of media plans and strategies into effective Paid Social campaigns
Review market analytics to gather insights to inform decisions within the Performance Marketing team
Support in the creation of monthly campaign performance reports for clients across paid and organic social channels
Creating engaging organic content calendars which meet the requirements and tone of voice of each client
Scheduling organic content using various self-service social management platforms
Be one of our social experts; keeping on top of trends, spotting new opportunities and making suggestions for innovative content ideas
Requirements

Excellent written and verbal skills which are adaptable to different audiences.
Excellent attention to detail
Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and work autonomously
Strong understanding of popular social networks (mainly Facebook, Instagram and X)

Excellent planning and organisational skills
