Social Editor

London / Manchester

As part of the Jungle Media team, you'll play a key role in discovering the most exciting and engaging content the internet has to offer, helping to entertain and inspire our global audience of over 147 million followers. With a sharp eye for viral trends, you'll drive performance across platforms including Facebook, Snapchat, TikTok and Instagram. You'll also bring fresh, creative thinking to the table, generating original content ideas inspired by the latest challenges, trends, and cultural moments.

What you'll bring to Jungle

Solid understanding of all major social platforms, with a strong focus on Facebook
Demonstrated ability to identify viral potential in user-generated content
Experience managing content permissions and familiarity with copyright regulations
Proven ability to adapt to different brand voices and audience interests
Comfortable working across multiple brands, projects, and deadlines
Experience with Meta Business Suite or similar analytics tools
Clear, confident communication and collaboration skills
Knowledge of Trello is a bonus

What you will be doing as a Social Editor
Lead the sourcing of viral and audience-relevant content across Jungle Creations' portfolio of brands
Manage creator outreach and maintain strong relationships across platforms
Handle content permissions and rights management with a clear understanding of copyright best practices
Monitor and respond to social inbox messages related to sourcing and collaborations
Collaborate with page managers and the wider editorial team to align content with brand strategies
Identify social video ideas based on platform insights and cultural trends
Track performance using tools like Meta Business Suite; analyse and report on keymetrics
Maintain a rigorous and organised workflow, using tools like Trello (preferred but not essential)
Communicate updates, opportunities, and feedback clearly across teams
Support the wider content and creative team in identifying new creators for potential partnerships

KPIs:
• Support the growth of Facebook revenue through high-performing content
• Increase video qualified views, completion rates, and overall watch time
• Maintain a consistent balance between high-quality and high-volume content sourcing
• Manage and nurture strong working relationships with both existing and emerging creators
• Contribute to follower growth across all key platforms
