With a focus on TikTok, we are seeking a full-time social media content creator who can research, plan, produce and edit short-form shopping videos for our shopping social platforms.Candidates must demonstrate previous experience in creating engaging, shopping-centric video content and must be as comfortable in front of the camera as they are behind it.This is an exciting new role in a brand-new team with lots of potential to grow within the company.About Mail Metro Media Mail Metro Media is the unified advertising division of dmg media, representing some of Britain's most popular media brands; Daily Mail, The Mail on Sunday, MailOnline, Metro and Metro.co.uk and now the i and inews.co.ukReaching 1 in 5 UK adults every single day and over 70% of the population every month across all of our titles, we have the largest printed scale and most engaged websites in the UK. Each department is equipped to support seamless cross-platform delivery across all brands.Main Responsibilities· Planning, shooting, and editing original shopping and review videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels etc.· Proactively pitching content ideas based on trends and insights to create increasingly effective content.· Liaising with PR agencies to call in samples for review and use in content.· Managing the brand's TikTok shop showcase and Amazon Storefront· Working closely with our affiliate team to drive product sales and clicks for our partner merchants through creative social video content.· Attending press events, representing the company, establishing, and maintaining relationships with brandsPerson Specification· Proven experience in creating engaging TikTok content.· Experience editing vertical video on software such as CapCut - Adobe Premiere is a bonus!· Ability to identify viral trends and products and pitch compelling original video ideas around it· Experience dealing with PR agencies and a black book of contacts.· Effective communicator and team player who will collaborate with producers, journalists, editors, and the commerce advertising.· Understand the difference between content that drives sales and content that supports wider business objectives e.g., raising brand awareness and audience engagement.· Laser-focused, organised, and exemplifies meticulous attention to detail.
