We're looking for a talented and experienced Showrunner to work on a returning obs doc sports series.

The ideal candidate will have strong creative vision and story-telling ability. The Showrunner will lead the team in exploring and developing narrative, following stories as they unfold on the ground, whilst always having an eye on how the story will later be shaped in the edit. They will drive the editorial process through all stages of production from Pre-production through to Delivery.

Strong leadership and communication skills are vital. The Showrunner will manage a team of Series Director, Series Producer, Producer and location team of Shooting PD and DV Director. They will also be responsible for liaising and collaborating closely with the channel/network, alongside the Executive Producer. Experience overseeing multiple edits and final post, with attention to detail and compliance is also key.

Candidates must have experience working on productions with complex access and will be committed to maintaining and strengthening relations with the contributors and large organisations we are working with.

The Showrunner will be required to attend the office and edit in London, as well as going on shoots in the UK and occasionally abroad. Contract start will be Autumn 2023, running through to Summer 2024.
