We are looking for a Show Producer to join our core team for a five-month full time contract position. Ideally we would like to start this position on 21 October 2019 - however this is flexible. There is potential for contract extension.As the Show Producer you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the commercial and logistical aspects of the production leading up to the show opening. Financing and funding for this ambitious production has been secured, and you will be entering this role at the beginning of the design and planning stage. Roles and responsibilities* Track and monitor production plans and budgets across all departments.* Ensure the production has the necessary licences, waivers, consents and other legal clearances.* Identify, prioritise and resolve tasks and issues affecting the production.* Work with the directors to define and scope the creative vision of the production.* Oversee the front of house and box office function working with the Box Office Manager.* Manage sponsorship deals and other third party dealings that support the show.* Recruit department heads and other members of the production - including preparation and sign off of staff contracts.* Manage the logistics surrounding the take down and archiving.* Implement an asset management system to track hired equipment, props, etc.* Manage press and media by liaising with PR agency partners.To do this job well, you will need to be:* A leader in maintaining positive morale within the production team.* An ambitious person that enjoys big problems and the challenge of resolving them. * An experienced project manager with at least 3 years of proven track record.* Able to prioritise tasks and work in high pressure conditions.* Able to occasionally work 12-15 hours per day (while loading in and during build) and be prepared to work hours required to deliver the build on schedule. * Highly organised, resourceful, and efficient with a keen eye for detail.* Able to foster good working relationships with a range of different types of people from different backgrounds and experience levels.* Passionate about delivering impactful art and creating realistic environments.The following skills and experience may be advantageous, so make sure you mention it in your application: * Experience managing a production budget that was £1 million or more* Project management of complex multi-disciplinary projects. * Any experience delivering realistic and immersive environments.
