BBC Studios' Unscripted Productions bases are in London, Bristol, Cardiff and Northern Ireland. It's home to many of the BBC's most popular brands such as Countryfile, Gardeners' World, Crimewatch Roadshow, Bargain Hunt and X-Ray.

X-Ray is BBC One Wales' long running and high profile weekly consumer series which is noted for its investigative journalism and creative films. We are looking for a talented Shooting Producer/Director to join our busy team in Cardiff.

We are interested in PD's who are confident self-shooters with considerable experience of making short films, able to demonstrate visual flair and to use creative storytelling techniques. You will have a strong background in researching, scripting and producing legally and editorially complex stories. You will need to demonstrate a track record of dealing with challenging journalistic subject matter, dealing with contributors and industry experts and you will be used to working to tight deadlines and keeping within budget. You will also be required to oversee the work of less experienced AP's and researchers and take responsibility for risky shoots and covert filming operations. You may also be expected to produce complete programmes.
