Blast Films is looking for a shooting AP to work on Generation Gifted, the highly acclaimed BBC 2 documentary series about the education of teenagers who are on free school meals.

Essential to be a strong shooter, good producer and have organisational skills too. Ideally someone ready to be a DV Director or might have one DV Director credit. Required to go on shoots around the country and will be on location with the SP who's directing the shoot.

Must be able to drive on motorways and shoot on FS7 and C300 (can make do if only C300).

It's important you have worked on obs docs and shot actuality before for BBC, C4 or ITV 9pm documentaries. The candidate won't be shooting everyday as they need to also help set up shoots and keep across not just their shoots but also other PDs. Must be good at dealing with sensitive contributors and needs to be people person.

The contract will start 26th March and the SP will be meeting people 12th and 15th March.
