STV Studios are seeking a Glasgow based Self-Shooting AP for a factual entertainment/obs doc series for Discovery+ and Really. Filming will take place in Derbyshire and across the UK for this light-hearted, fun series, involving antiques, an auction house, and all the people who work in it.

Start Date: 3rd November 2025 (with availability the week before for some agreed days shadowing)
End Date: 13th February 2026

The work pattern for this role is Monday to Friday, with the occasional working weekend. There will be 3 down weeks over Christmas.

We would like to hear from Shooting APs who are experienced in filming on FX9 and have a minimum 3 broadcast credits.

We're looking for Shooting APs with a strong editorial sense and a confident approach to filming. You'll be required to cross-shoot and shoot your own scenes under the direction of a PD. Applicants should have a strong understanding of shooting ob-doc, while also recognising the importance of working within a format. The successful candidate will also need to be very organised and proactive, with experience of story producing, organising and setting up shoots, maintaining and managing documents and recording detailed notes. This is a returning series with an established, supportive team.

Please only apply if you have at least three broadcast shooting credit. A clean current driving licence is essential. Please make a note in your covering letter of any holiday dates and let us know what camera equipment you shoot on.
