Shoot & Content Coordinator

London

As Shoot & Content Coordinator you will be responsible for managing and delivering photography and film shoots for online, print and the content hub.
This is a very busy role that offers support to the Creative Team by working closely with external agencies to resource all brief requirements.

Responsibilities:

Produce in-house and external stills and video shoots from conception, retouch to production for web, print or content hub. This includes, but is not limited to photo research, location, prop sourcing, model casting, hair & make-up, and artist bookings.
Work closely with the business to ensure shoot requirements are clear and deadlines can be met.
Contribute to briefing meetings highlighting any issues.
Follow a critical path method to establish a plan and team responsibilities that reflect timings for approvals for, concepts, edits, etc., and ensure there is commitment to schedules by task owners and such plans are communicated to stakeholders.
Trouble-shoot and use one's own initiative to provide solutions when schedule or plans change due to delays or scope change, with focus on managing risk and expectations.
Ensure contracts, permits and agreements are in place pre-production and filed on completion of project.
Responsible for ensuring that the team on set is compliant with industry standards and legal expectations including health and safety.
Develop relationships with the leading agencies for all creative services including photographers, models, hair, make-up and props.
Work with the Creative team to ensure processes and contacts are being managed accordingly.
Pro-actively seek out new talent, locations, models and suppliers to ensure the Creative output remains fresh, relevant and progressive. Understand fully the market prices and negotiate appropriately when necessary.
Update Contacts database for team to ensure it is a methodical, accurate and useful document for all to reference.
Develop knowledge of copyright usage for images and music through practice and mentorship from senior team members.
Work with Picture Editor to classify and maintain archives for all imagery.
Contribute to production workflow processes to enhance and increase efficiency and quality of deliverables.
Manage budgets on assigned projects ensuring all costs are accounted for.
Ensure all invoices and spend for the Creative team are logged and paid.
Support monthly financial reporting and building relationship with Accounts Payable.
Responsible for team credit card.
Monitor requests have been approved by Head of Production, that all receipts are accounted for and monthly statement is filed correctly in advance of deadline.
Provide support and cover to the Production team during busy periods, absence and annual leave.

Essential Skills & Requirements:
You must have proven production experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally from a creative agency, fashion retailer, publisher or design office.
Understanding of the digital and print art-working process.
Experience in managing budgets and working in Excel.
Demonstrate strong time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines at all times and multi-task.
Good judgment, a sense of initiative and a professional working manner.
Degree of flexibility to cope with the demands of a rapidly growing business: understanding the importance of commercial content in an e-commerce environment and the challenges this brings to creativity
A problem-solver who is methodical and detail oriented and organized.
Ability to think clearly and calmly when under pressure.
Excellent communication skills and an approachable attitude within the team and other internal departments is a must.
Willingness to go the extra mile.
Self-motivated, and eagerness to learn.
A confident, creative problem solver who is inspired to work on innovative concepts that may not been a known entity.
Maturity and discretion with confidential information.
Interested in design, fashion news and developments.
Good sense of humor and radiates enthusiasm.
Proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel, basic knowledge of Photoshop, Indesign and Design packages.
Understanding of technical aspects of studio and location photography and an aptitude for learning new technology.
Confidence to own full projects with a practice of transparency to alert the Head of Production of any issues that may arise.
