CBBC is looking for an experienced Series Producer with a passion for producing top class content for our audience to work on Series 7 of The Dog Ate My Homework from our offices in BBC Scotland. The Dog Ate My Homework, is a CBBC multi-award winning comedy panel show and is back for a brand new series. It's the show where two teams face each other in a mischievous mix of tongue-in-cheek comedy, off-the-wall questions and slapstick challenges in this school-based panel show. Please note that the studio records will involve working weekends (possibly throughout September)Role ResponsibilityAs Series Producer you will lead and motivate the team, ensuring that the vision for the series is communicated and understood. You will inspire the team to realise the vision by providing a strong sense of direction and a supportive environment in which to work.You will manage all stages of the production process, from games development to finding and selecting child and comedy contributors; from scripting through filming to post-production and delivery. You will ensure that all deadlines are met, budgets not exceeded, BBC editorial guidelines are adhered to and the most creative, high quality content is produced. You will oversee the teams responsible for finding and casting suitable child and adult contributors; developing and providing content for new and existing rounds and supporting the Production Manager in delivering on time and on budget.
