Gutsy Animations UK is recruiting a Series Producer to work on a new series of its award-winning Sky One commission Moominvalley. This role would be a staff position based in Bristol commencing as soon as possible for a 2 year term.

The Producer role is integral to the smooth running of our busy and creative studio and involves managing an in-house team, liaising with external partners and being responsible for overall project schedules and budgets.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing the production schedule and ensuring all deadlines are met and potential delays flagged in a timely manner

• Managing the production budget and ensuring that any potential overspends are flagged prior to any additional financial commitment

• Monitoring the relationship with external animation studios and that a clear line of communication is maintained throughout the production schedule

• Creating workflows, scheduling and overseeing deliveries across all aspects of production and post-production. Troubleshoot if necessary

• Responsible for supervising and managing in-house production team

Required skills and experience:

•Minimum 5 years' experience as a tv series Producer

•Excellent communication skills

•Ability to prioritise and work well under pressure

•Must be able to work well in a team, with a positive, flexible and approachable attitude

•Knowledge of the CG animation pipeline essential

Our studio is currently in the process of moving from Long Ashton to Clifton and therefore this role may require initially working from Long Ashton until the move is completed.
