We believe video has the power to create real connection. It can help leaders engage their people, connect brands with their audiences, and amplify storytelling to create heart-felt impact.
We're looking for a Senior Videographer and Editor to help us create videos that show the human side of business - the stories behind an organisation, the beauty in the everyday and the insight hidden within the noise.
In this role you'll be shooting and editing video content for both 3800 and our international clients. This will range from long-form brand films, talking-head interviews and documentaries, to educational guides and content for social media. You will also capture events and help us to translate in-person activities (like workshops) to a digital setting.
We're looking for someone who has an eye for storytelling and can help us bring our ideas to life, with the skills and confidence to offer up your own thoughts, ideas and style. You will be working as part of a small, senior team of strategists, writers and designers, with the scope for progression to involve building out the video production side of 3800.
You'll have relevant experience in:
Collaborating with creative teams and clients to form, understand and interpret briefs.
Developing shot lists, storyboards and schedules.
Scouting locations, assessing lighting conditions and preparing equipment for shooting.
Capturing high-quality video content for different platforms.
Enhancing videos through shooting techniques and use of technology.
Reviewing and organising raw footage, with an effective post-production workflow.
Editing video content, including selecting and integrating music and audio.
Using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or other compositing software.
Making sure video content has a consistent tone and style, aligning with brand guidance.
About You

You are passionate about video-based storytelling and like to stay up to date with trends and techniques to continuously improve your skills.
You have excellent organisational skills, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage your time and tasks efficiently.
You have an in-depth knowledge of cameras, lighting and sound, and can make recommendations for the best approach to suit a project brief.
You can immerse yourself in projects and bring your own thoughts, ideas and approaches to the table.
You have a collaborative mindset and are confident working both with creative teams and directly with clients.
You have high standards, maintaining quality control to make sure the final output meets or exceeds expectations.
You're excited by travelling for work, both in the UK and abroad (this year we've been to Germany and Romania for film shoots, for example).
You align personally and professionally with our values? and ethos. You are inspired to contribute your creativity and skills to a team committed to making a meaningful impact.
