Senior Video Producer - Job DescriptionAbout Message HeardMessage Heard is an award-winning podcast and new media company working with some of the world's most ambitious brands and broadcasters. We create original IP and commissioned projects that combine creative excellence with commercial value - across audio, video, and emerging technologies. Our partners include global platforms, broadcasters, and household brands.The RoleWe are looking for a Senior Video Producer to take ownership of the video function at Message Heard. This role is about shaping how we approach video podcasting - but also thinking more widely about video as part of our storytelling and commercial strategy.You will be responsible for guiding projects end-to-end: from development and visual planning, through production and post-production, to final delivery. This is a hands-on role that combines creative vision with technical know-how, ensuring our video output meets the highest editorial and production standards.Alongside traditional production, you will also play a role in integrating AI-driven tools and workflows into our video function. We see AI not as a replacement, but as an amplifier - helping us to innovate in editing, asset creation, and visual storytelling. You will help shape how these technologies support and extend our creative process.ResponsibilitiesLead the video function, with a particular focus on video podcasting and companion formatsTake ideas from concept to final export, owning the full workflow (development, production, edit, delivery)Develop creative visual approaches for shows, working closely with audio producers and clientsManage shoots and recordings (studio and remote), ensuring quality and efficiencyOversee post-production workflows, including integration of new AI-assisted tools where relevantEnsure consistency and high standards across all video output, aligned with brand and platform needsExplore and pilot new technologies in video podcasting and multimedia storytellingSupport pitches and proposals with visual treatments and production planningWhat We're Looking ForStrong experience producing and delivering video podcasts or comparable longform video contentHands-on technical knowledge of production and post-production workflowsCreative flair for visual storytelling, with an eye for design, framing, and audience impactCuriosity and openness to experimenting with AI tools in editing, animation, or workflow designOrganisational skills to manage multiple projects, budgets, and deadlinesCollaborative mindset - able to work with producers, clients, and post-production teamsA forward-looking approach to platforms, formats, and technologies shaping the future of videoPractical DetailsLocation: London (Hybrid)Salary: CompetitiveWhy Join Us?This is an opportunity to build and define the video function of one of the UK's most ambitious independent studios, shaping standout video podcasts and pushing into new visual formats.
