As Senior Video Producer you will work in conjunction with the Head of Video, Creative and Client Services teams to produce fit-for-purpose video content, films, advertisements, and animations for clients that meet their specifications. You will work closely with the Head of Video overseeing the daily output from the producers, editors, and motion designers. Reporting to the Head of Video you will ensure all videos leaving the studio are cutting edge and industry standard.Working with video producers you will create outstanding projects to brief. Setting up shoots, delivering call sheets, shot lists and storyboards. You will be involved in pitches with the Head of Video. You will have a role in the development of junior members of the video team. You will always be striving to produce the highest standard of work to represent a well-rounded and talented Creative team.Job responsibilitiesAssisting the Head of Video in day-to-day production operations, overseeing producers, editors, and motion designers, while managing multiple projects simultaneously. This includes providing feedback to team members and working with Client Services, to ensure the aims and vision of the end client are achieved. Also ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard.Involvement across various stages of the creative process, from interpreting the brief, to developing a storyboard, establishing visual styles, and producing motion content suitable for diverse channels.Ensuring all produced content meets industry standards and aligns with client briefs before review by the Head of Video and the Group Creative Director.Producing high-quality videos within tight deadlines.Collaborating with video producers and editors to ensure projects are filmed and edited efficiently.Undertaking pre-production tasks, including setting up and organising shoots, creating concise shot lists and storyboards, casting models and actors, managing budget parameters, scheduling shoots, arranging equipment, obtaining necessary permissions, and handling relevant paperwork.Setting up production equipment, including cameras, lighting, audio recording equipment, and drones.Conducting filming on location or in-studio using professional-grade equipment such as Sony and Canon cameras, including FX6, A7S III, DJI Ronin RS3 Gimbal, DJI Mavic 3 Drone, and other associated gear.Managing drone operations, including obtaining permissions and licenses, and handling associated paperwork.Video editing/postproduction editing all assigned video projects to the highest quality, leading by example, and working collaboratively with the team. Editing corporate and commercial videos using Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects to create typography and motion graphics. Adding graphics, special effects, colour grading and closed captioning. Guiding and advising more junior members of the team when required.Uploading content to online video platforms.Conducting digital photography on location or in-studio to produce captivating imagery to a highly professional standard.Photographing images used to capture moments, tell stories, and promote a brand, and then used in digital marketing capacities, such as for a company or client website, a banner/mobile ad, still shot within a video, sales, and marketing collateral, along with editing and colour grading and much more.Staying updated on video and photography trends to maintain a leading-edge content approach.Demonstrating effective problem-solving skills to ensure successful project outcomes.Maintaining and ensuring the proper functioning of all equipment, including storage, transportation, and on-site usage, and managing equipment inventory.Adhering to company policies, procedures, and instructions, setting an example for the team.Person specificationDegree in a relevant field such as film studies, filmmaking, film production, or media production preferred.Exceptional portfolio/reel showcasing originality, conceptual thinking, and skilled execution, with proven examples of video editing, sound editing, and post-production work.Full, clean UK driving license required.DBS check required.Proven experience in digital video content creation within a collaborative environment for platforms, agencies, or brands.Previous senior video producer role experience at a production company, agency, or digital media brand essential.Familiarity with fast-paced work environments.Proficiency in project management methodologies for effective planning, execution, and tracking of video production projects.Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and handling larger projects with substantial budgets.Extensive experience in developing workflows and processes for digital video production.In-depth understanding of video and audio production processes.Drone license and operational experience essential.Previous client-facing roles experience, with a track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships and exceeding their expectations.Photography experience desirable.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including After Effects, Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, Illustrator, and XD.Competence in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.Familiarity with industry-standard practices, emerging technologies, and best practices in video production, photography, and digital marketing.Strong technical skills in DSLR, mirrorless, Sony FS/Canon C range cameras, and related equipment.Proficiency in gimbal operation.Skilled drone operation for clear image and audio capture.Strong design understanding, including layout, color application, typography, illustration, and storyboarding.Understanding of wider filming kit and crew composition.Excellent technical and photographic skills preferred.Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Meticulous attention to detail.Awareness of health and safety requirements on shoots.Understanding of GDPR and relevant legislation.Genuine passion for creativity and design, particularly in motion graphics, with a drive to continuously learn and develop skills.Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.Demonstrated maturity and professionalism.Positive 'can-do' attitude with a highly organised approach.Ability to work under pressure without compromising attention to detail.Commitment to efficiency and accuracy.Openness to staying updated on industry technology and methods and sharing knowledge with the team.Commitment to deadlines and willingness to work flexible hours.
