Are you our next Senior Video Editor ? We're looking for someone to join our Video and Edit team, to help shape our future by turning raw video footage into world class video executions across all types of creative content.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:Inspire and deliver world-class, genre-defining work from both you and others who work with you, in the video editing team and throughout the rest of the business.You will work on the most key projects such as brand campaigns which aim to improve brand advocacy and value awareness alongside all other departments in the wider creative team as well as stakeholders in the wider business.Drive change within our community and our business through the power of video. The types of changes are business wide such as brand awareness, perception as well as meeting all key stakeholder KPIs such as sales & revenue of new products.Make sure all finished video content is consistently at the high standard expected from our community, both in quality and attention to detail.Work with other people in the team to help mentor and develop the more junior members whilst pushing and inspiring those more senior.Constantly push yourself to learn new skills and then where appropriate apply them to improve yours and the team's output. You may be supported by a junior on projects to which you will need to delegate tasks to.Responsible for working to a set budget per campaign alongside producers and project managers and other creative executors.Continually suggest new, different, and better process improvements in the way you are working for both the video process but also the wider GTM process which will have an impact on many key stakeholders in and outside of the video editing team.WHAT YOU'LL NEED:You love the medium of film and are at your happiest when editing beautifully shot creative assets and turning them into world-first, disruptive finished video content that genuinely moves the needle.You like to be involved in most of the creative process. From sitting down with a creative or designer and ideating grading and sounds design, right through to the final postproduction process, turning raw footage into final outputs that will inspire the community. You understand how important our community is to us and would relish translating our brand strategy into inspiring and informative video content for them to enjoy.You are a natural 'doer' whilst also being able to work with and articulate yourself clearly to multiple stakeholders across several teams.Essential Criteria:An excellent portfolio that spans video editing, grading, sound design and storytelling with proven examples of high-quality output through a world class edit.Experience across a plethora of channels; deep expertise in storytelling execution through video.Experience collaborating with creatives, designers, and vendors to seamlessly execute projects.Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, interpersonal and inter-departmental.Examples of mentorship across more junior members of a team, helping develop them to deliver truly remarkable, influential, and impactful work.A solid understanding of media as well as the marketing industry at large; an ability and a desire to adapt to the changing landscape.Proof of an ability to deliver high quality / high level video content from raw footage to world class finished edits This is a hybrid role and would require the successful candidate to attend at least 3 days a week in GSHQ, Solihull, UK.CLOSING DATE: 17th July 2023BELONGING AT GYMSHARK.Our mission is to be a place where everyone belongs.
