Detailed Description
The role of the Senior Video Editor is to consistently deliver the highest quality video assets that set the bar for the JD style. They lead by example, leaning on their extensive expertise and skillsets and are mentors to Midweights and Juniors. Seniors are expected to oversee all video projects through post-production whilst always looking to delegate appropriately and inform throughout pre-production and on set.

Job Title - Senior Video Editor
Location - Manchester, M40 5BJ with travel
Working rota - Monday to Friday, possible weekend and bank holiday hours
Working hours - 40hrs per week

What You'll Be Doing:

To help achieve a 95% threshold for projects delivered on time (before or on deadline).
To work with the Head of Video to Quality Check all ongoing post-production plans from across the JD Content team.
To step in where needed on any project to help ensure high-quality delivery.
To help enforce and champion all post-production processes and help educate where possible.
To successfully design, execute, implement, and/or deliver new ideas, methods, and technologies into the video department where it impacts the quality of delivery or post-production workflows.
To champion and innovate work across the department by mentoring several members of the team, be that via new technical skills, post-production workflows, or pre-production planning for post-production

What We're Looking For:

At least 5+ years experience in an agency or in-house.
At least 1+ years experience in a leadership role.
Extensive experience leading video edits.
Excellent knowledge of Adobe Premiere with additional knowledge of After Effects and Da Vinci Resolve as a bonus.
