The role of Senior Scenic Artist is to work alongside the 5 other full time scenic artists and painters in the department under the supervision of the Head of Paint Shop.

Working with some of the best designers, they will be required to use a broad range of scenic techniques, equipment and materials to paint and finish scenery to the highest standards.

The successful applicant will need to have at least 5 years' proven experience and be confident with sampling, working with texture, painting cloths and gauzes, cut cloths and recreating designers' vision through models and conversation.

Rocket Scenery is a company blessed with great workshops, paint frame and permanent floor painting area. The successful candidate will be joining a welcoming and friendly team of specialist craftspeople from metal fabricators, carpenters to scenic electricians and a cook too!

Senior Scenic Artist is a permanent full time role so has all the employee benefits including overtime pay after 38 hours, holiday pay, sick pay, pension contributions and our working week finishes at 1pm on a Friday so a longer weekend.
