The Planning, Booking and Scheduling team sit within BBC Wales Operations, managing the efficient assignment of staff and resources across a number of areas which include, but not limited to, Post Production, Graphics, Audio, Studio and OBs, TV Presentation, Technology, Sport, Digital & Marketing.

Role Responsibility
You will plan and manage post-production schedules for a range of genres and to fit a variety of budgets, making best use of staff, freelancers and facilities to deliver projects to agreed deadlines. You'll need excellent communication skills along with a detailed understanding of post-production processes and workflows.

The Ideal Candidate
While it is expected that the Senior Resource Scheduler will have knowledge of a broad range of Operations activity, they will also have a specific area of knowledge or experience in post-production. You'll need excellent communication skills along with a detailed understanding of post-production processes and workflows.

The following experience and criteria are essential for this position;

A detailed understanding of the post-production processes gained through previous experience in post-production, production or operations.
Good understanding of workflows and deliverables in post-production offering a detailed level of operational and technical advice to various parties.
Experience of managing multiple stakeholders and post-production requirements simultaneously to deliver desired outcomes to schedule
Sound knowledge and experience of a scheduling system, together with well-developed IT skills.
Experience of maintaining the post-production schedule in programme budgets and managing the process to ensure the budget is adhered to
