C4's A Place in the Sun is looking for a part time Spanish speaking Senior Researcher/AP.

This Spanish speaking senior researcher/AP role is based in our offices in Chorleywood, Herts and the successful candidate will focus on supporting location teams in a variety of ways but mainly obtaining filming permits and securing local permissions in advance of filming.
Fluent written and spoken Spanish is essential for this role as you will be dealing with town halls, the police and estate agents in Spanish speaking territories.

You need to be very organised, relish the challenges of multi tasking, and be nimble in supporting location teams as and when they need the help.
You will report to and be supported by an office based producer and there will be multiple shows, at any one time, in production.

If the successful candidate had multiple language skills then all the better, but the key language is Spanish (and of course English!). It's a job that will be fast paced pending the needs of the shows, so you need to thrive on potentially ever changing situations.

The role is office based, in our production offices. The office hours are typically 10 - 6, Monday - Friday.

This is a part time role, so 2.5 days a week and we do facilitate limited working from home and there is flexibility in the structure and hours of the role.
Our offices are on a farm in Chorleywood which is a 15 minute walk from the tube/mainline station. If you drive there is plenty of free parking.

This will be a 12 months contract starting 8th December 2025
