Senior Production Manager

London

The studio team at Weber Shandwick creates award-winning video and animation content for a global roster of clients including Microsoft, Mars Inc, Novartis, Lilly, Unilever, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Roche, Nespresso and many more. Working closely with the client and in-house creative and strategy teams, we develop cross-platform content from initial inception to delivery.

We're a close-knit team of producers, editors, animators and shooters. We are passionate about filmmaking, inside and outside of the office (or currently, our kitchens/sofas), and always looking at ways to learn and evolve our work.

We are looking for a Senior Production Manager to join our growing team on an initial contract with the potential to go permanent. This role will be reporting into the Head of Production.

What will you be doing?

Finance & Legal

Managing internal financial administration including but not limited to:

Working with finance and Head of Production to report revenue targets, and manage P&L
Manage all shoots, including budgets, insurance, invoicing, and reconciliations
Approving client invoices
Line managing Production Assistant
Setting up 3rd party vendors on the system and liaising with suppliers
Ensure all freelancers / companies are sent a PO and contracted correctly
Ensure insurance is in place for shoots
Consolidate projects to recognize correct revenue, flagging any projects at risk or with potential growth opportunities
Update and maintain pipeline projects and projected revenue
Production

Working with creative services manager to manage resource
Manage shoots, including budgets, insurance, invoicing, and reconciliations
Ensure projects are delivering on time and within budget
Maintain roster of Production, Recruitment and Freelance suppliers
Work alongside Senior Producer and Head of Production to oversee team and create training plans
Who are you?

Significant experience in production with recent experience as a Production Manager
Proven strong organizational, administrative skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Capable of working in a team but also happy to work independently
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel
Exceptional time management
Ideally familiar with SAP, but not essential
