We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to look after Garden Rescue.

This is a daytime garden makeover series which is produced on a tight schedule and to a tight budget so it's essential you have experience managing challenging low cost series. Make-over experience would be beneficial, gardening experience amazing!

The role runs from casting through to delivery and you'll be responsible for managing the budget on PMI, contracting and scheduling our presenters, contracting and communicating with our contributors, contracting and scheduling the production and landscaping teams across the series. Good budget management, great negotiation skills and amazing communication skills absolutely essential for this series.

You will oversee a PC and 2 x Location Co-ordinator's and as a team you will be responsible for setting up and managing complex garden makeover builds between May - September incl. kit hire, hotels, hire vans, Health & Safety regulations inc PPE on location, location logistics, skips, portaloos, etc.

You will also schedule and oversee 4 x edit suites throughout the post period delivering credits, blur lists, metadata info and online notes for the series. You will oversee the final delivery of all masters and paperwork with an eye to deliver to the agreed BBC Milestone dates.

The series will be based in Birmingham and you'll need to visit location occasionally. It can be part time role on 4 days a week, we will be flexible for the right person. We're looking for someone to start mid January through to end of November 2024.
