Senior Production Coordinator (Film Programme)

London

We are looking for a Senior Production Coordinator (Film Programme) to coordinate and deliver the Production programme for the BFI London Film Festival 2024.



BFI London Film Festival (LFF) runs an Industry & Professional Programme of screenings, events, networking and informal marketplace for around 3,500 film industry professionals alongside the main public festival.



Key responsibilities include:

Coordinate production planning and logistical delivery of the LFF general programme cinema presentations, team deployment and operations at partner venues and ad hoc high-level talent logistics and security requirements at non-Headline Gala venues.
Support the Senior Production Manager in maintaining significant Local Authority, film industry and partner venue relationships.
Appoint and manage a team of temporary staff responsible for logistical planning and delivery of the Festival's Venue Production and Volunteer Programme to an exemplary standard.


We are looking for candidates who have:

A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within a film festival environment or related cultural industry
Significant demonstrable experience in event-production, with the ability to manage resources ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget
Experience of people management, including recruitment, supervision and training
The ability to work creatively under pressure and on own initiative
