Job DescriptionTitle: Senior ProducerReports to: Chief Operating Officer/ Creative DirectorWorks: 5 days/ 40 hours a weekDetails: PermanentSalary: Up to £45,000pa, depending on experiencePurpose of the jobManaging project output and day to day deliverables with outstanding producing expertise. Supportive leadership of the producing team with an unflappable approach to problem-solving, thoroughly understanding the detail of client requirements.Main TasksSupport the pitching and briefing processes, helping to define the approach and scope of projects (goals, deliverables, schedule, and budget).With responsibility for the organisation and production of multiple projects, manage interdisciplinary teams to evolve and execute conceptual work into clear sets of deliverables.Coordinating the entire production process, in conjunction with the Production Manager, from pre-production and filming through to post-production, ultimately ensuring the delivery of all project deliverables on time, on budget and of the highest quality.Closely managing the budget for each project ensuring client value for money and profit maximisation are balanced. Keeping within production budgets is key and the Senior Producer is expected to manage any scope creep whilst maintaining the client relationship.Utilising a pro-active approach to communicate project progress, issues and resolutions to the client and internal team, partnering with the client service team to manage client expectations.Providing supportive leadership and line management of the producing team ensuring that they are developing in line with their own professional aspirations and Hub's goals through planned, regular dialogue and delivery of training/ coaching/ mentoring.Pro-actively leading on recruitment and selection of new producers both in-house and freelance, maintaining the right balance between adequate resourcing and financial KPIsOnboarding new team members, both in-house and freelance, to help them settle in quickly, optimise their opportunity to enjoy what they do, deliver their best work, and actively contribute to Hub's goals.General DutiesActively contributing to developing new business opportunities.Leading internal and external meetings, presentations and conference calls, ensuring they stay on task and meet stated objectives. Liaising with assigned partners and managing third party contractors.Keeping projects on track through clear task lists, issue tracking, status reports, and meeting notes.Inputting necessary information into Hub systems and processes, actively contributing to improving efficiency.Responsible for personal and some team aspects of health and safety. Commitment to own professional development in line with Hub's culture.Undertaking any other requirements that support the business' goals. Person SpecificationSolid producing and strong project management experience in an agency environment.Knows how to determine the optimal approach for systematic engagements and develop clear project plans.Experience in the clear and non-ambiguous documentation of requirements, deliverables, schedules, and budgets for projects.Excellent influencing and negotiation skills.A successful track record of managing a variety of projects and budgets, including video content (shoots, edits, animation), as well as other marketing channels.Budget management skills and a commercial outlook.Ability to manage multiple projects and balance conflicting priorities.Experience line managing producing and coordinating interdisciplinary project teams.Comfortable with the task of leading large projects and taking responsibility for their success.Clear verbal and written communicating skills at all levels.A flexible, pragmatic, detail oriented and remains calm in a fast-paced environment.A team player with a positive and collaborative problem-solving attitude, a determination to get things done and a good sense of humourThe job description is meant as a guideline and it may evolve over time.
