We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Motion Designer to join our Creative Team on a permanent basis, and help shape the motion culture within evoke galliardRole SummaryAs Senior Motion Designer, you will support our skilled team of designers, to deliver impactful and engaging video and animated content. Your role will be essential in translating complex scientific and medical communications into compelling stories that captivate and educate audiences.You will be responsible for delivering video content for leading healthcare and pharma companies, with an extreme attention to detail and proficiency in a range of production outputs, including, but not limited to, storyboard development, animation, video editing and motion graphics.You will be involved in multiple projects at any given time, working closely with other members of Evoke Galliard; this will involve taking briefs from multiple stakeholders, having direct contact with client teams and providing strong communication at all times.As Senior Motion Designer, you'll create animated graphics for video campaigns, that will include content ranging from social media assets to graphics packaging for films, to full animations. You'll work specifically on title sequences, teaser videos, animated graphics, promotional videos, social videos and screen graphics for events. You'll work side by side with designers, content creators, creative directors, and writers.Working at this level, you will be able to create an animation sequence against a creative brief. For example, by manipulating footage and design elements to create an entire end to end main title sequence for a show that strategically addresses the objectives stated in the brief. You should be able to conceive and pitch of multiple compelling ideas against a brief and consistently sell through and execute those ideas. You will be a trusted voice on the design team to help solve design problems as well as be involved in pre-production planning for efficient execution in the post process. You will also be responsible, with the support of the design lead, of hiring and leading junior motion talent.You will be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite software, with a strong focus on After effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop. Strong knowledge of Maxon Cinema 4D and character animation will be a plus.Position within the agencyThe Senior Motion Designer will report to the Design Lead and will be positioned within the Design team working closely with fellow designers and our medical communications colleagues.Creative executionThe Senior Motion Designer supports the creative team, generating ideas, visualising storyboards, preparing assets and managing the whole animation process.Exceptional design skills and possessing a strong original point of view.Demonstrates passion for improving lives through innovation in healthA track record of selling through work, working on advanced and complex projects with successful outcomesClear understanding of design and animation principlesProven track record of generating creative and innovative work within the boundaries of tight brand guidelinesEffective communicationExceptional communication skills.
