We're looking for a passionate and versatile Senior Motion Designer & Animator to join us to produce high-quality animation at our office in Southwark, London. You need to be someone who's not afraid to get stuck in with the team, experiment with multiple techniques, and be a key creative voice in the company.

Day-to-day activities range from storyboard illustration, to character design & animation, to adding titles and transitions onto live-action footage. You'll be responsible for standalone motion graphics projects as well as complementing our existing production team by adding graphics to existing live-action projects.


Role Requirements:

• 4+ years professional animation experience. Preferably at an entertainment brand, advertising or media agency with an emphasis on digital production including online video
• Create 2D & 3D motion graphics in accordance with existing brands and design guidelines
• Storyboard illustration
• Character design, illustration and animation
• Collaborate with the existing production team on design decisions, bringing a unique perspective to the conversation
• Compositing simple graphic elements onto live-action environments
• Liaise with clients and attend meetings
• Work with the creative team from brief through to production and delivery
• Able to work on a number of projects at once, switching between them while we wait for client feedback
• Design-trained to understand typography, movement, layout & composition (not necessarily a formal education in design, but need to show strong understanding of these concepts)


Essential Skills:

• Strong knowledge of After Effects & Photoshop
• A good understanding of Adobe Premiere Pro and how it fits into the post-production pipeline


Bonus Points:

• Fan of geek culture - videogames, comics, TV, film, etc.
• Knowledge of Illustrator and InDesign
• Experience with Unity 3D or other videogame engines
