Reporting to the Production Finance Manager, the Senior Finance Assistant will be responsible for providing financial and accounting assistance to the production team - dealing with all matters that arise during the course of production and provide regular "final cost" forecasts to the Production Management team.

This is a "sleeves up" role for someone who enjoys getting fully involved in a role and working as part of a busy team.

The Senior Finance Assistant duties will include liaising with Accounts Payable on all Payables issues - dealing with vendor enquiries; managing and reconciling the production floats and ensuring that proper controls are maintained over cash advances and managing and reconciling expenditure incurred on production credit cards.

The successful candidate will have previous experience within a finance capacity; proven organizational ability and meticulous attention to detail, as well as a strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines.

This is a multi-skilled role and will give an opportunity for the successful candidate to be dedicated to the financial management of the production. Knowledge of television production, a practical knowledge of the SAP accounting system (or similar) and an interest in sport would be highly advantageous.
