We are currently recruiting an experienced DVD Author/Technical Manager for our creative facilities and production company. You must have a minimum of three years' experience with Sonic Scenarist and the Cinema Craft encoding system. Knowledge of Digital Rapids' Stream also desirable. You will be working with our graphics, audio and video departments, delivering directly to major labels world-wide, as well as supporting all types of AV work and handling compression for the Internet. An understanding of Blu-ray, and a desire to move into this format, is desirable.You must be able to provide examples of commercially-released discs for which you have been the main author. You should be fully conversant with MPEG encoding and other compression formats, and also be conversant with IP and AV connectivity. The ability to handle pressure and work within a creative team is essential.Richmond Studios produces some of the leading international music DVD's, along with TV, drama and film releases. We are based in the centre of Richmond, Surrey, with in-house audio, video and design facilities.
