Are you an experienced digital content editor looking for a rewarding and challenging opportunity? Are you looking to work in a fast-paced, agile team that's delivering high-quality content to reflect Macmillan's purpose of supporting people who are living with cancer? If so, we have the perfect role for you.

What's the role?
You will be a Senior member of the Digital Content team, working to ensure that all of Macmillan's web content is created to the highest digital standard. You'll have an in-depth understanding of data-driven content strategy, content management systems (Sitecore preferred), search engine optimisation, and accessibility requirements.

This role requires you to work with stakeholders across Macmillan, offering them advice to help them be effective with their digital content requirements. You will also be confident managing priorities and workflows to ensure the team is being the most effective.

You will deliver inspirational and supportive line management, working with other senior members of the digital content team to build a committed, empowered and successful team.

Who are we looking for?
You have significant experience of managing a team to deliver complex and detailed work in a deadline-driven environment, as well as experience managing a digital ecosystem which includes multiple websites and services.

You understand the Agile development model and have experience of working in Scrum. You also have an ability to track, understand and analyse user behaviour, as well as an understanding of digital content personalisation and taxonomy principles.

Excellent communication skills and theability to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues is a must. You'll also be able to demonstrate excellent planning and prioritisation skills to meet multiple, and sometimes competing objectives.
