Senior Designer

London

Are you a skilled creative who loves transforming big ideas into bold, visually engaging content? As a Senior Designer at Global, you'll shape concepts into engaging presentations and design-led experiences - carefully crafting layouts, typography, imagery, and flow with the audience always front of mind. From rough sketches to refined final decks, you'll own the visual journey, making confident decisions on composition, scale, and style.

You'll sit within the internal comms & culture team and partner with senior stakeholders across the entire business and will play a key role in delivering high-impact projects and standout initiatives for the CEO and Founder.

This role reports into the Director, Talent Development & Culture with a dotted line into our Brand Marketing team. This role will manage a Junior Video Editor.

As a Senior Designer at Global, you will:

Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design (70%): Lead the development, design and creation of high-quality visual assets across all internal comms channels to include company-wide presentations, exec decks, communication graphics, digital collateral and all internal brand assets. Includes responsibility for the full creative management and production of our quarterly all employee Company Meetings and internal building branding for 8 sites
Creative Direction - Video (30%): Provide clear briefs and creative direction to a Junior Video Editor producing content for internal audiences. Oversee filming and post-production to ensure high-quality output

What You'll Love About This Role

Think Big: You'll turn ambitious ideas into visually engaging internal content that informs, inspires, and connects our people
Own It: You'll lead the design of internal communications from concept to delivery - owning layouts, typography, imagery, and visual flow
Keep it Simple: You'll simplify complex messages into clear, compelling visuals, creating polished decks and materials that are easy to understand and impactful at every level of the business
Better Together: You'll collaborate with senior stakeholders and partner with all teams across the business

What Success Looks Like

In your first few months, you'll have:

Mastered Global's look and feel, knowing exactly how to connect with Globallers
Led a creative idea from initial concept to final delivery, independently developing and pitching proposals to the Director, Talent Development & Culture
Built strong relationships within the People & Culture team, Brand Marketing and senior stakeholders
Delivered multiple projects, to include our quarterly all employee Company Meeting, with your work shining across Global's internal comms channels

Graphic Design: Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
Exceptional portfolio demonstrating a strong understanding of brand design, typography, layout, and composition
Solid understanding of design principles and experience designing for various digital platforms and channels
Design Software: Proficiency in industry-standard design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Apple apps (such as Keynote)
Stakeholder Management: Act as a trusted creative partner to stakeholders, managing complex priorities with clarity, confidence, and a calm, solutions-focused approach under pressure
Productivity: Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts and strategies
Problem-Solving: Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional design solutions
