We are a global team of game lovers who are developing, publishing and innovating the mobile games industry, connecting millions of people around the world daily.Stumble Guys is one of our most recent hits, with tens of millions of fans joining the party every single day, constantly keeping it at the top of the charts in over 50 countries and with the ambition of becoming nothing less than a beloved franchise and to be played for many years to come.What You Will DoCreate sketches and ideations quickly for communicating conceptsCreate and animate high-quality 2D game assets and VFXConsistently deliver assets in a timely manner to meet production deadlinesCollaborate with other artists and programmers collectively and effectivelyBe able to reasonably control the timing of special effects' animation, and design and produce special effects in conjunction with character movementsWrite special effects technology & specification documents related to the production process and content and check online game effectsOptimize the special effect resources related to the unity engineçEnforce optimal performance and efficiency of the game's final visual assetsWork with animators and concept artists to visually develop the look and feel of the game VFXWhat We're Looking ForDegree in Design, Fine Arts, or equivalent work experience4-5 years of relevant experience with a portfolio of industry-standard artwork working in real-time VFXExperience in live game projects and a strong understanding of art pipelines, dependencies, and project scopeProficient in Maya, Substance, Unity, Photoshop, and 2D art (concepting, sprite sheet creation)Skilled in Unity for special effects production with shader knowledge and ability to create textures/renderingsStrong special effects design, focusing on sensory impact, character movement, and innovationCreative, with a keen sense of color, form, and imaginationPassionate about game development, with strong communication, teamwork, and learning abilitiesResponsible, with a supportive, positive work ethic and good language skillsCapable of producing game-ready visuals that meet technical requirements for devicesPlease include a portfolio or PDF/links to examples of your work in the application.At Scopely, we create games for everyone - and want to ensure that the people behind our games reflect that!
