Self-Shooting Editor / Videographer

London

We're searching for a highly motivated and creative Self-Shooting Editor to join our team. You'll be responsible for the entire production process, from concept to delivery, with a focus on creating engaging content for social media platforms. This includes:

?Shooting: Planning and executing video shoots, including operating cameras (mobile, DSLRs, FX3 up to FX9 or similar), lighting, and sound recording.
?Editing: Assembling footage, crafting narratives, adding music and sound effects, colour grading, and incorporating basic motion graphics.
?Post-Production: Managing and organising media, ensuring proper file naming and backup procedures, and archiving completed projects.
?Collaboration: Working closely with the creative team to brainstorm ideas, develop concepts, and ensure projects align with brand guidelines.

What you'll do

Conceptualise, shoot, edit, and deliver high-quality video content for various social media platforms.
Maintain a strong understanding of current social media trends and best practices.
Operate a variety of cameras and production equipment to capture compelling footage.
Ensure all projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards.
Contribute creative ideas throughout the production process.
Maintain organised project files and adhere to established workflows.
Collaborate effectively with other team members.

About you

2+ years of professional experience as a self-shooting editor or videographer.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and other Creative Cloud applications.
Strong understanding of video production techniques, including lighting and sound.
Experience with various camera systems (mobile, DSLRs, cinema cameras).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating engaging content.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A strong portfolio showcasing your shooting and editing skills.
