We work with the world's leading directors and talent and collaborate with some of the most influential figures in film to create eventful, genre-defying theatrical releases and TV single dramas & drama series.Role:This role is work on behalf of Pulse Films on scripted productions ensuring that the productions run smoothly, by working closely in support of the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Production as well as a central point of contact between internal Pulse teams, production teams, broadcasters, financiers and vendors. Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure smooth-running of day-to-day processes and information exchangeUpdates and maintains relevant production, finance and legal trackersContributes to the refinement and implementation of internal production processesGuides Scripted Department Assistant in navigation of company and production dutiesAssists Head of Production with talent availability searches and location feasibility research, maintaining up-to-date recordsCommitted to growing understanding of production processes, budgets, schedules and cost reportsManages payment approvals via PMI, ensuring appropriate approvals in place, correct coding and liaising with finance team to help ensure payments are made on timeWork under the supervision of the Head of Production to monitor production activityEffectively co-ordinate information exchange between internal departments and external vendors, broadcasters and production teamsProvide travel, transport, visas and shipping support for productions, in particular during periods when production teams are not fully on board.Co-ordinate visa and shipping arrangements etc when projects lack full production teamsManage the distribution of production schedules, slate documents, policies and trackersLiaise with production personnel to ensure appropriate production documents and assets are properly delivered and archivedLiaise with post-production personnel to ensure deliverables are tracked, recorded and completedSupport teams in setting up and maintaining templates, databases and logs.Provide high level administrative support to Scripted teamWork with Scripted Department Assistant to ensure team and production documents and assets are safely archived and accessibleKey Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience in a production environment is essentialMinimum 3 years experience at a production company or in feature film or television productionDemonstrates initiative, forward-thinking and a responsible attitudeStrong ability to manage time and prioritiesExceptional organisational and numerical skillsCommunicates clearly, accurately and effectivelyGood sense of ownership alongside an understanding when senior approval is requiredEnthusiasm to learn production processes and industry standardsMust have a passion for film and TV and be avid watchers of bothMaintains calm and professionalismDevelops perseverance to finish tasks to completionProficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and PMIMaintain discretion and confidentiality regards production matters including with regard to budgets and talentREQUIREMENTSEligibility to work in the United Kingdom
