Scheduler / Bookings Coordinator

Films at 59 are looking for a Scheduler / Bookings Coordinator to join our growing post production team.

We would like to hear from you if you are organised, have fantastic people skills and possess equal measures of lateral thinking and diplomacy. You must enjoy problem solving, be self motivated and have exceptional communication skills.

The role:
The main aim of this integral role is to schedule bookings and allocate work and resources for our busy Post Production departments (Offline Editing, Online Editing, Colour Grading, Audio). The Scheduling role is responsible for booking all resources in the department and planning, managing and overseeing the smooth running of the schedules for of a number of TV projects throughout the post production process whilst balancing the needs of clients, staff and the business.

The key responsibilities are:
* Working closely with our post producers to understand project requirements
* To generate booking sheets and schedule the talent and resources within our Vision department in line with project requirements
* To continually manage the bookings and schedules and communicate key information with operators
* To provide speedy and robust solutions to ever-changing scheduling queries.
* To balance the needs of our clients, staff and business to sustainably deliver our client's creative aspirations
* Fostering a team-spirited approach and building on our 30+ years of experience to ensure we keep delivering and exceeding expectations.

The Person:
We are looking for a positive team player with excellent communication and people skills. Because of our variety of work, we can consider all levels of experience, but a developed understanding of TV post production processes and experience in the broadcast industry is a distinct advantage. We may consider exceptional candidates from other industries if they can demonstrate the required competencies and the ability to learn fast.

At this changing time in our world and industry we are looking for people who can think ahead, see solutions to problems in advance and have a natural and pro-active communication style. You will need to enjoy organising schedules, problem solving and working with people. Loyalty, openness, knowledge-sharing and a credible persona are key.
