Creative Services company working on Theme Park, Film and Exhibition projects, is looking for experienced carpenters to join their freelance team, working at their Birmingham / Castle Vale studio as well as on site in the UK and also worldwide. Our company is a global leader in the Theme Parks, Resorts, Attractions, Experiences and Film & TV industries, boasting an impressive client list. Our North-East Birmingham studio is a fast paced environment hosting skilled makers across a wide range of creative disciplines.

The role involves working individually as well as part of a team, reading technical drawings to produce props and displays from MDF, plywood, engineering board, soft and hardwoods, veneers and laminates among other materials. Due to the breadth of projects we work on, experience across carpentry, joinery and cabinet making would be beneficial.

Key requirements:
• At least 3 years experience working professionally in the industry.
• Ability to use stationary machinery and hand tools.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Good communication skills.
• Own tools and PPE
• Registered as self employed
