Based in central London, we have over 15 years of experience in delivering high quality services including editing, sound, video graphics, DVD production and web and interactive services. We have a number of high profile clients and have worked on feature films such as the recent Harry Brown.

We are looking for a highly motivated and extremely well organised individual to join our facility as a Runner / MCR Operator. This will entail providing a client hospitality service, performing tape duplications, encoding and technical checks and assisting the editing team as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client Hospitality and Facility Presentation
• Provide a first class runner service for clients throughout the day
• Ensure the facility is kept well stocked with client supplies
• Hire equipment or make purchases as requested by senior team members.
• Produce POs and any additional paperwork for all purchases/costs and liaise with accounts.
• Maintain the general presentation and cleanliness of the facility.

MCR Operator
• Duplicate, convert and encode tapes across a wide range of filming and broadcast formats.
• Transcode files across a wide range of codecs and wrappers.
• Manage the duplication bay area to ensure editors have access to decks as required and duplications are completed on time.
• Assist the Account Manager to manage each account's duplication, conversion, encoding and technical check needs, and client expectations. This includes liaising with the client after technical checks and answering the client's day-to-day technical questions.
• Maintain the library database to ensure tapes are logged accurately and housed correctly.
• Assist senior editors as requested with their job requirements including logging rushes,
digitising, conforming, encoding and deliverables.
• Undertake training to ensure all hardware and software is utilised competently and efficiently.
• Complete all paperwork correctly and expediently.
