Royal Video Producer

London

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the ITN Productions News team. This role is initially for 6 months and will focus on digital Royal Family videos.

We have recently launched the 'Royal Fashion Channel' on YouTube, to sit alongside our successful 'Royal Family Channel'. We need a producer to work across both titles as well as producing Royal content for Hello! Magazine.

The ideal candidate will be able to research, script and edit the videos making use of our vast archive and current royal coverage. You will have plenty of ideas about social media cross promotion and be interested to learn about SEO and analytics. Solid research skills are needed to find hidden gems of archive material and interesting Royal facts.

Demonstrating knowledge of high-end fashion and the impact of the Royals on sales will be a real plus.

Responsibilities

Come up with creative and interesting angles and scripts for Royal videos
Edit digital packages using Avid Newscutter and a graphics pack
Engage our audience with fun and informative tweets, Instagram posts and community polls
Publish videos to YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and a CMS, reformatting where appropriate
Create impactful thumbnails
Stay abreast of fashion trends and any press related to royal fashion

Qualifications

A creative thinker who can write scripts with an engaging tone and personality
A genuine interest in fashion and The Royals
Excellent video production skills
A broad understanding of social trends, the YouTube landscape, SEO and its application to digital video
Awareness of video rights, licensing and copyright management
