Experienced Researcher (rising AP) with a number of good credits under their belt required by BBC1 daytime's 'Close Calls on Camera'.

Must be able to source strong stories, find and initiate contact with potential, often vulnerable, contributors, and present developed research notes.

The role is part office based, but with a lot of time on location around the country accompanying the PD for filming interviews.

A knowledge of camera, sound and lighting set up an advantage.

The office base is in Southampton and candidates must be able to base themselves there for the duration of the contract, 6-7 months, from October 2019 to the end of April 2020.

Excellent communication skills and written skills are a must, along with working well within a small team and a positive and personable attitude.

The role involves a lot of responsibility, so needs a self starter who can work without constant supervision.

Must be an experienced and confident driver due to the extensive travel and sharing driving.
