Are you capable of researching and developing a documentary from concept through to finished product?

As Production Researcher / Coordinator, you will work with our Filmakers & Production Management to help them to produce cycling documentaries, from pre to post production. You will help find locations & contributors (UK & abroad), oversee filming schedules and shoot budgets.
An interest/passion for cycling is helpful, but not essential.

The position is based in our Bath office in the UK, but may require you to travel to shoot locations in the UK and abroad.
Relocation costs will not be covered.
You must have a full UK drivers license and the ability to work in the UK and EU.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Researching and developing multiple documentaries from concept to delivery
* Planning, researching and scheduling multiple shoots
* Arranging permits, permissions and risk assessments
* Creating & distributing call sheets
* Location scouting
* Managing shoot budgets inc. raising POs
* Negotiating costs with suppliers
* Hiring crew and contractors
* Approving bookings of resources, locations, equipment and supplies
* Sourcing archive for edit

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* 2-3 years production experience
* Excellent organisational skills
* Influencing & negotiating skills
* Understand the technical processes involved in video production, including camera, lighting, sound and editing
* Be able to work with all members of the production team, with presenters, other contributors, and members of the public
