We have an exciting short-term role at Hamlett Films, an award-winning production company of documentaries and dramas for the education sector. We work with leading academics, brands and educators, and produce films designed to attract, engage and enthuse learners.
This position requires an individual with fantastic academic research experience, someone who is able to disseminate key information and takeaways from academic papers, for us to incorporate into the scripting process; someone who isn't fazed by reading through lots of academic documents and data, and who can pick out the useful points based on the brief.
The ideal candidate will have had some experience researching the subject matter - extremism in Middle-Age people, specifically across social media platforms - addressing the critical issue of online conspiracy theories, misinformation, and extremism, focusing on individuals aged 45-65.
Duration: This is a short-term role, for someone to come on board for one week initially
Start: An immediate start would be ideal
Location: Remote working
Salary: Dependent upon experience
Experience and Key Skills:
- At least 2 years research experience ideally in video production but a related field would also be considered
- Someone who can distil complex academic information into bitesized paragraphs
- Meeting deadlines and working under pressure
- A keen interest in academia and specialist research
