Our partners include global platforms, broadcasters, and household names.The RoleWe are looking for a Research Coordinator to support the development and production of projects across Message Heard's portfolio. This role combines rigorous research with story coordination - ensuring our programmes are underpinned by accuracy, clarity, and strong editorial support.Working closely with producers, writers, and editorial leads, you will help identify and structure story material, compile research packs, fact-check scripts, and ensure information flows smoothly between teams and clients. It is a role for someone who is detail-oriented, curious, and motivated by the chance to contribute to ambitious narrative and documentary projects.ResponsibilitiesConduct research to support story development and production across multiple projectsCompile and maintain research packs, briefs, and supporting materialsFact-check scripts and other editorial outputs for accuracy and rigourTrack story leads and opportunities, helping to triage ideas for producers and editorsCoordinate research and story materials between internal teams and external stakeholdersContribute to pitches and proposals by providing background research and story notesWhat We're Looking ForStrong research and analytical skills, ideally with an academic, journalistic, or documentary backgroundDemonstrable interest in narrative storytelling, true crime, or documentary audioAbility to work across several projects at once, meeting deadlines with accuracy and consistencyAttention to detail and a commitment to editorial integrityA collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with producers, editors, and external partnersPractical DetailsLocation: London (Hybrid)Salary: CompetitiveWhy Join Us?This is an opportunity to work at the heart of a fast-growing independent studio, contributing to high-profile projects for global clients and broadcasters.
