Based in the North East, we are passionate about making memorable children's TV that makes a difference in people's everyday lives.

We are looking for an Assistant Producer or experienced Researcher looking to make a step up to join our current enthusiastic creative team in the North-East working on a returning pre-school documentary series for Cbeebies. A solid track record of working on projects with factual content is essential. Experience with casting and children would also be very useful to fulfil the specific duties of the role.

Main duties will include:
* for children and families to feature on the upcoming shows
* Researching show topics and subject areas
* Coming up with possible features to feed into the shows
* Working on the first few shoots
* Co-ordinating filming for PR purposes during production; liaising with press/owners as required for permissions etc
* Co-ordinate trips including travel, accommodation, venue arrangements & PR requirements, etc
* High level of self motivation and an ability to self manage on projects and work through tasks independently to completion
* Assisting with various levels of pre and post production (as required)

The contract is currently for 12 weeks (3 months) and will begin end of Jan - April and would be based at our Sunderland office. However some travelling around for shoots and casting will obviously be required. Future opportunities could also be made available for successful candidates (subject to pending company developments.)
