Radio Content Producer

London - Mayfair

Wanted! Enthusiastic & Experienced Producer for the Wonderful World of Entertainment PR

Cameo Productions is an established Mayfair-based broadcasting consultancy and audio production house and we need an experienced and tech savvy producer to join our team. You will be eager to work with audio and have a keen interest in film, radio and digital media.

Our clients are the major movie studios and film distribution companies. Cameo's audio press kits, based on our interviews with the world's biggest stars and directors, provide radio stations nationwide with everything they need to cover the latest releases and secure our clients great exposure. From our in-house recording studios and from remote locations in the UK and abroad, we conduct ISDN interview sessions to stations anywhere in the world, serving clients in the film industry and in general public relations.

Cameo's success has been built on our twenty-year reputation for quality. We are recruiting an audio producer, educated to degree level, with a minimum of three years radio or relevant experience, who will further enhance our status.

In summary the successful candidate needs:

• an understanding of what makes good radio

• the ability to work over our entire audio production process, from sourcing the assets to final quality check and making the material available online

• an ability to edit audio and video quickly, to broadcast quality, in Adobe Audition or equivalent

• a passion for film and good knowledge of all UK media

• the ability to write clear and exciting supporting copy

• the technical know-how to work on our ground breaking website

• excellent studio skills to run ISDN talent interview sessions

• a friendly and professional attitude towards clients and guests

• the confidence and experience to interview major talent

• the ability to manage junior or freelance production staff

Although we do have an offsite IT support system in place, we've always valued our audio producers' ability to be the in-house computer experts, so broad IT skills are a must. The successful candidate should also be prepared to work outside normal office hours, attending evening and occasional weekend preview screenings, premieres and junkets.

This is an initial six-month contract.

If this sounds like you please send a CV and a 250-word explanation detailing your radio and wider media experience and why you're right for this role.
