Experienced Prop Maker
We are looking for a highly experienced prop maker with a minimum of 6 years experience to work within our fast paced workshop in East London.
The applicant must have a natural flare for creating 3D form, a large range of material experience and be practical in working methods. Also an eye for detail and excellent finishing skills.
Experience in the following materials and skills is a must.
*Fibre glass and resin, *Jesmonite, *Mould making practices, *Basic Carpentry, *Spray paint and general paint finishing, *Paint effects and aging, *Multimedia and combination of found items, *Poly carving, *Clay sculpting, *Sewing, *Vinyl application and stencilling, *plastics, *basic metal work.
You must be fluent in English both spoken and written and able to manufacture from drawings, photographs and conceptual ideas. You would be required to work primarily in the workshop but occasionally on site and at weekends if required.
This position is open to permanent and freelancers with a salary of £14.00 - £16.50 per hour. £16.50 per hour being the salary once you have proved that you are capable of meeting the above requirements (3 month probation period for permanent applicants).
