The Canadian-lead prop workshop prop-art in Germany is looking for a prop maker builder If you have experience in prop-making, trade fair construction, scenery construction, window dressing, model making or carpentry, then apply to us now!We design and build theatre props, exhibition decoration and promotional products for film and TV. For many years, our creative team has been working with international clients such as Disney, Stage Entertainment, Intel, Hyundai and many more. The prop-art workshop is located in northern Germany between Hamburg and Bremen.You fit perfectly into our team, if:• You have a few years experience building props and sets.• You are able to plan props from design to manufacture.• You have woodworking skills.• You have experience in model making, mold making and casting (silicone, epoxy resin, etc.).• You have experience with foam, styrofoam, fiberglass, etc.• You have in-depth knowledge of varnishes, paints and adhesives.• You are confident dealing with team members, clients and international customers.• You work well in hectic situations and with deadlines.• You stand by your work and take responsibility for your decisions.• You have experience with project management and budgets.• You like flexible hours and some overtime.• You are willing to learn some German. We are offering:• A permanent full-time position.• A monthly salary between 2.500 and 3.500 € (depending on qualification).• A relocation bonus and assistance in finding an apartment.• A creative work environment with a constant rotation of short projects and the possibility to travel internationally.• The opportunity to take on responsibility and the prospect of a managing position.• Involvement in the creative planning process and communication with clients.• A young, creative team and a energetic work environment.• Regulated working hours (with some exceptions).Please send us your application with pictures of your work and your salary expectations.
